"I lost the hat which I bought."

Hello, everyone:

I know we can say:

I lost the hat which I had bought.

I lost the contact lenses I had bought the day before.

But I'm wondering if we can say "I lost the hat which I bought." and "I lost the contact lenses I bought the day before."
