I look at all the other people who are there with their friends and family, and I start to feel even lonelier. So I try to fin other things to do to keep myself busy.

B: I go someplace where I can be around other people. Even if they are strangers, I feel better when there are others around me.How about you?
A: That doesn't work for me. For example, if I am feeling lonely and I go to a movie by myself, I look at all the other people who are there with their friends and family, and I start to feel even lonelier. So I try to fin other things to do to keep myself busy.

As you know, 'The other(s) means "the last ones in a specific group, the remains from a given number of similar items.'
AND
Other(s) (without the) means "Several more out of a group of similar items, several in addition to the ones(s) already mentioned"
Now, Can we use 'other' instead of 'the other' on the undelined text?
I think the other doesn't make sense. as we don't have last ones or remains.

If I go to a movie by myself and everyone else goes accompanied by friends or family, then I am one of the group at the movie and I look at "all the others", i.e., all those who remain, not including me.
