I like the color turned out

"I like the color turned out.'

Does it mean 'I like the color which has been turned out' or 'I like the color which is turned out'?

Thanks,

' Does it mean 'I like the color which has been turned out' or 'I like the color which is turned out'? They all sound rather odd and wrong, particularly with no context. If you mix 3 colours of paint together to make a new colour, you might say I like how the colour turned out , meaning I like the colour that was finally produced.

I suppose the phrase could be used when someone has a two-sided jacket (black outside/red inside, for instance).

Otherwise, Clive nailed this one.
