I know your version is a lot better and idiomatic than

I know your version is a lot better and idiomatic than mine but I would still like to ask you one more question.

Analysis:
I believe the following sentence is correct. a lot is an adverb and better is comparative of adjective good.
I know your version is a lot better than mine.

But I think the following sentence is not correct because the structure of the sentence suggests that I'm making two comparisons, better and idiomatic. But idiomatic is not a comparative adjective per se though adding more in front of it will make it one, more idiomatic.
I know your version is a lot better and idiomatic than mine...
