00I was wondering if there is anyone doing the TEFL online course with i-i? because I am having many problems with Module 6 and could really do with some help! Would also be nice to talk to other people doing the same course to share ideas with etc. 02br

00I'm doing Module 6 which is watching a CD-Rom of a teacher teaching a class and I gotta answer questions but I'm kinda stuck! I have to say how the teacher 'personalises the lesson' but I don't really know what that means! and there are a few other thigns I'm having problems with

0 Hey Natalie. I'm doing TEFL with i-to-i and have just started Module 6. I think the teacher personalises the lesson by adding humour ( the remark about the dog ) and the way he singles out individuals in the class to repeat things. Some of the students are obviously finding it harder to pronounce things - take the chinese guy ("exotic" and "exhausted") 02br

0I am enjoying the course very much, and I hope to have finished it soon [future perfect using 'hope'] LOL. I think the class is probably Intermediate but don't take my word for it 'cos I'm still working on it 05000 How about you? Are you enjoying it? Are you planning to teach abroad somewhere?010id5

00Yeah I'm really enjoying it and seem to be getting on well so far although this Module is quite tricky I think! 02br

0For me, I'm thinking maybe teaching in Poland, although somewhere warmer would also be nice! The beauty of it is, you can move around with the job but obviously there are some constraints; with visas and so on. Keep in touch though - my email is on my profile page. Its always good to exchange ideas with people going through the same experience 050010id5

0 Poland would be cool, I've actually always wanted to go there, it's on my list of places to visit! 02br

00I mostly want to teach in South Africa although like you say, you can move around with the job which I think is good, you can do something you love (hopefully!) and get to see different places in the world and meet all sorts of people! 02br

0Hi Natalie,02br
02br
00I am also on the TEFL online course. I was surprised to see the lack of exchanges going on with reference to i-to-i answers. I am still back on Module 2 - grammar was never my favourite but certainly look forward to Module 6 as that looks the easy bit.02br

00I have even asked English PhD's about some of the jargon and questions
