One of the major benefits of living with families is the home comfort. It is obvious that they can enjoy the cozy atmosphere which cannot be had when moving outside. Apart from studying, students living at home have the chance to support families with household chore such as preparing for the meals, doing gardening and so on. In addition, lots of students find it hard when they have to deal with homesickness and loneliness in first year. Therefore, they tend to become more depressed and isolated. Finally, living outside will cost a lot and not many students can afford this amount of money.
On the other hand, studying in different cites also has enormous advantages. First of all, students will become more confident and independent without support of families. For instance, one gains communication skill when working part-time to pay for rent and bills. Besides, students are more responsible for their own lives as they learn how to organize their schedules, do domestic daily chores and balance their studying and relaxing. Thus when living outside, they are not only have the chance to meet new people but also experience the lives they cannot expect. This will lead them to successful lives.
To sum up, both ways of living have benefits and drawbacks. In each different circumstance, one will have their own choice that is most suitable.
