You can also say ."I hope you have wits enough not to do it."

Quite a lot of people think so. Personally, I do not like to form a negative infinitive thus: to do > to not do. I prefer to form it thus: not to do.

I would use more common vocabulary to say it: I hope you're smart enough not to do it.
