"I hope you are able to find this place as comforting and fulfilling as I have ever since my first visit".

Hi all

Could you please comment on this sentence? I am especially unsure of the second part of the comparison where I wrote "as I have ever since ..." Should I have written "as I have found ever since..." instead?

"I hope you are able to find this place as comforting and fulfilling as I have ever since my first visit".

Thank you.

Best wishes

The sentence is acceptable as you've written it, in my opinion. e. write "as I have found it".

  • The sentence is acceptable as you've written it, in my opinion.
  • e.
  • write "as I have found it".
  • "found" alone doesn't seem quite right to me.
  • "as I have done" is also possible.

The sentence is acceptable as you've written it, in my opinion. If I were to insert "found" I would also add "it", i.e. write "as I have found it". "found" alone doesn't seem quite right to me. "as I have done" is also possible.
