Thank you and if someone says, "I hope that you could make her happy.", here we can infer two meanings from the sentence because of various usage of 'could', right?
1) Like the sentence in the first question, the sentence implies what you did in the past.
2) Could is also for the future and lower possibility than 'can', so we also can say the sentence
