'I hope I finish all of them by then'


'I hope I finish all of them by then'


first of all is this setence grammatical? next if it is then what sort of tense is it?

if it's not how can I improve it? does 'I hope I'll be able to finish them by then'

sound better?

I think the sentence is fine - "I checked out fourteen books from the library and they're all due next week. I hope I finish all of them by then." You could say "finish them all" and/or
"by that time," but the original is fine the way it is.

It sounds okay.
But if it's a cloze question like: I hope I (finish, will have finished) all of them by then, I would choose the latter.
