I hope / Hope I

Hello everyone! Emotion: smile

I have a question, again.

Is there any difference between "Hope I remember them" and "I hope remember them"?

Someone told me that the first option was incorrect, is it really so? I don't know, the second option sounds weird, it's af if there was something missing, like an "I" "I hope I remmeber them"..

Thank you in advance!

The first is a shortened form of "[ I] hope [that] I remember them. " As you probably know, in informal conversation, we frequently drop the "I" in statement like that.

The second is incorrect - unless you change it to "I hope TO remember them."
