"I haven't been that much in the last couple weeks'' Or "I haven't been that much for the last couple weeks''

Which one is correct? I don't know the rule for when to use for and in with time expressions. And is my English good?

Anonymous I don't know the rule for when to use for and in with time expressions. There is not a specific rule, I think. We need to see the sort of sentence that worries you.

I haven't been outside that much in/for the last couple of weeks.

Both prepositions are fine there. Next time, please place all relevant text inside the message box, not in the subject line.
