I have two questions

1. Please help with these sentences: "If my kid goes to bed late, I think he will get up late. But no way! He always gets up early." Is everything OK with them? Does the phrase "no way" fit here?

2. Can I say "I sat down at the computer after breakfast, because I had a lot of work to do"? Or is it better to say "in front of the computer"? Is everything good with "sit down" or can we say just "sit"?
