Am I right with the following interpretation?

I have nothing on her!

that means I have no power over here, like, I couldn't blackmail her.

Example:

- You must get that woman under your control or we are in real trouble.

- Yes, I know, the problem is that I have nothing on her. She is the one who has something on you, I mean, us.
