I have no idea.

I have no idea. VS. I do not know.
Someone says the first one is stronger than the second. Do you agree with it? Thank you so much as usual and have a good and safe day.

I think it depends on how they are said. If I say, "I have NO idea" and I stress the word, then I really have no idea. I don't have an answer at all.

If I say, "I have NO idea" and I stress the word, then I really have no idea. I don't have an answer at all.

But, it can mean exactly the same thing in many situations.

Personally, if I read it in writing, it sounds stronger to say, "I have no idea."
