I have learned a lot of things thanks to you.

1) I have learned a lot of things from you.

2) I have learned a lot of things thanks to you.

I would like to know if you feel any difference between them or #2 is also possible in some situations? Thank you so much as always and I do not take your time and help for granted at all. Thank you so much again.
