Instead of speaking/writing that, I'd like to speak/write one of these:

- I have the experience of living in Canada for five years.
Or
- I have lived in Canada for five years. I lived there from eg 1995 to 2000.

If you use the present perfect tense "have lived", it means you have experienced living in Canada. We can also use 'present perfect' to talk abo
