I have difficuly with past/present time

Hi. In the situation as below, I always have difficulty to tell if past / present tense shall be used:

The party is drawing to the end, and I'm leaving the party. Shall I say to the host: "I have a good time."? Or past tense shall be used since the time to have a good time is now passed?

Thanks for reply.
