"I have confidence in math(or English)"?

Thanks for your kind answer again, Ms AlpheccaStars. This is my final question. You already answered but I'm asking again to get clearer.

What meaning comes to your mind when you hear the sentence, "I have confidence in English"(without "my" before "English")? Does it just not make any sense?
