I have already / I had already + APPRECIATION THREAD! ATTENTION!

Let me see if I'm on the right track:
1.Past Perfect: I had finished
2.Present Perfect: I have finished

Examples:
1. After I had finished my homework, I called my friends.
2. I've finished my homework at long last, let me call Dan and ask him if he wants to go out.

This is just a 'must see' if I got the hang of it.
Everything I know at English is just from plainly observing you guys and asking you questions.
Nona, Peacelinkfriend, CaliforniaJim, GrammarGeek, LiatYong, Feebs, and all of the others in this forum who take their time, and try their best to improve us non-native speakers' English on a daily basis.
I can't speak for everyone else, but I speak on my behalf when I tell you that I've been observing this forum for a long time, and I think that I had walked a long way, and that my English has vastly improved.
Not only this but I was, what you call in everyday language, 'analphabetical' before I discovered TheEnglishForward webpage.
So this is my gift to you....

Hope it goes to your heart!
Yours sincerely with a neverending thank you,

Evi Jr.
