I have a question to ask.

Can I write this sentence like this?

The weekly number of books read by men in 2010 was 4, whereas the figure for women was 2 books higher/more.

(What I mean is: the figure for men: 4; the figure for women 6)

Top answer

GiaHan (What I mean is: the figure for men: 4; the figure for women 6) If that’s what you mean, that’s what you should say.
