I have a question.

I came across the sentencs as follows.

I made a big decision and joined a Belgian soccer team.

If I should try to paraphrase this sentence by using " decided " , not " made a decision ", what sentence will

it be ?

I know, we can paraphrase " made a decision " into " decided " . but, how can I paraphase the adjective " big"?

Do you have any idea?
