I have a quesition.

1.They landed the airship safely.

2.They landed the airship safe.

Are both of sentence correct?

I think first sentence is obviosly correct.

wonder if sencond is correct.

Because safe is an adjective and not an adverb. It could not be used to modify the action of the verb "landed".
