Vocabulary

I hate waiting; That's why I hate risotto.

Hi,

Could anyone please what the logic between "waiting" and "risotto"?

After looking up the dictionary, I learnt it was an Italian dish. So does it take a lot of time to make risotto?

Why did A ask "even mushroom risotto"? Is it very popular in the US?

Thank you!

Context: The Simpsons- American cartoon.

Teacher A: When will they finish grading those tests?

Teacher B: I hate waiting; That's why I hate risotto.

Teacher A: Even mushroom risotto?
