I've learnt that you can express your dislike/annoyance in many ways. Here are some I know (both formal and colloquial).
I can't bear ... I can't stand ... I can't put up with ... I can't tolerate .... I loathe it when ... I find it annoying when ... I go bananas when ... I go ballistic when ... It bothers me It annoys me It makes my blood boil It drives me mad It drives me nuts It drives me crazy It drives me bananas It gets me It gets under my skin It gets on my nerves It gets my goat It winds me up
Can somebody think of other expressions? The funnier, the better. Thanks!

Thanks, Philip. I should have made it clear I was looking for alternative (idiomatic) expressions used for "pet hates" ... Some examples:
The way Italians are constantly jumping the queues just drives me crazy! It gets on my nerves when I see people dropping litter on the streets. She never switches the air conditioning off when she leaves the office. It winds
I go bonkers when (depending on the context, this could also mean 'become excitedly enthusiastic') I abhor It gets me hot under the collar when It makes me see red when I get spitting mad when I spit nails when
Wow, thanks Amy and CJ! I thought I knew quite a good range of alternative expressions, but I had never heard of those you posted! I'm always amazed at the countless ways you can say something in English!
