(I had) seen Alex until before month

A: Is here anyone who has ever seen Alex?
B: I had seen Alex until before month.

I'd like to know if I can omit "I had" in B's answer.
Thank you in advance for your help.

It's very poor grammar with with or without 'had'. Perhaps you mean: A: Has anyone here seen Alex? B: I saw him a month ago.
