Do the following two sentences have the following meaning?

1) I fixed/repaired my bicycle.

2) I had my bicycle fixed/repaired.

Don't you think that sentence #2 means "I had my bicycle fixed/repaired by someone else" while #1 means "I myself repaired/fixed my bicycle"?
