I had it this week

Hi teachers,

I'm sick of pizza, I had it three times this week already.

Can you please tell me if 'this week' is past already? Where am I now in time?

Thanks

tinanam0102 Where am I now in time? You are in "this" week. Next week, this week will be last week.

Hi Cool Breeze,

Thanks for your reply, could you maybe give days? Sorry I understand it'd be confusing. I copied down from a dictionary.

I think you can find the days of the week, and if you're an adult, you should already know them. If you refer to the controversy as to which day of the week is the last day of the week, it is irrelevant. The word this in your sentence requires the perfect tense in normal circumstances.

Hi Cool Breeze,

I think a lot of the time what I've learned from grammar books is very much different from what we are receiving from news or shows. And then sometimes misprint in a sentence may also make you confused as to why it doesn't work that way.

Thanks
