She is constantly getting calls, for Jeff, whoever he is. He (the husband), I assume, was trying to be funny (he knew he'd have that coming) when he said "What's for dinner Jeff?", because that's what they kept calling her on the phone, addressing her by a man's name!
The husband was asking just for dinner; he was only interested in eating and not even interested in
