I got served

Hello!

What does the phrase 'I got served' mean? I've come across this phrase and I still can't make out what it means.
Context: I found it while reading some woman's blog, it was entitled "I got served" and then she went on describing how she felt on the brink of divorce(her husband had filed for divorce).

I guess it depends on context. You can be served coffee/food in a cafe or you can be served a ball in tennis as examples.

I can't think of any as you mean. However, of couuse, that doesn't mean that none exist. What were you thinking? Have you heard or read something where this phrase was used?

Hello!

Well i heard it in a different context. My 17 yr old son went to a party and the next day my niece said to him i heard you got served. When he left the room i ask her what that meant she said it's when the girls give the guys lap dances. They call it being served.
