I gave him whatever money I had ???

I've seen a new expression yesterday.

"I gave him what money I had."

A kind member in our forum taught me yesterday that it is the same expression as "I gave him all the money I had".

Now I've found expressing " I gave him whichever money I had" is a wrong sentence.

Can I change it into the following one?

"I gave him whatever money I had"

I'm confused on whether or not I can do so.

Thank you for your answer in advance.

" All three are fine. Most people today would use the third. This next sentence emphasizes that I did not have very much to give, but I did give him everything.
