I find math difficult or is difficult

Hi all,

I have a question to ask. Which one is the right one?

a. I find mathematics difficult
b. I find (that) mathematic is difficult.

Are both fine? But I think a is the one I often see.

Hi Lya; Both are fine. I would not omit "that" in ( b), and it is always spelled mathematic s . A third version is OK, too: I find mathematics to be difficult.

Both are fine. I would not omit "that" in ( b), and it is always spelled mathematics.

A third version is OK, too:

I find mathematics to be difficult.

Do the third and the first version mean the same ? And in the second version, is it not okay to omit "that"?
