"I felt like I was on automation on the way out. I was dazed."
Hi all
Does this expression make sense? I want to express the idea that it was as though my mind was stunned and I was going through the motions of moving without the mind being present.
"I felt like I was on automation on the way out. I was dazed."

It doesn't sound natural. You'd be more likely to hear '...on autopilot...'
