I fell under her spell

I immediately fell under her spell the moment I saw her captivating smile.

Hi,
Is it correct to think of "I fell under her spell" as "I was enchanted/capitivated by her?" Thanks.

That's pretty close as way to THINK about it. Except you wouldn't want to write that: captiated by her captivating smile isn't good style.
