Hi,
What is the meaning of I don't feel any different in the following text?
"Attack ads must be answered in kind, he said. "
"I'm not sure this is an attack ad. he never mentions my name"
"He doesn't have to. How many liberal judges are running against him?"
"None that I know of."
"As of this morning ,dear, you are now officially a liberal judge. "
"Really? I don't feel any different."
Thanks
The suggestion is that the person speaker was not perceived as 'a liberal judge' originally, but is now. They do not feel that anything has changed and they are not aware of any difference in their character or behaviour. That is why (s)he says 'I don't feel any different'.

The speaker means this.
"Really? I don't feel any different now that I amfficially a liberal judge."
It's just a humorous little remark, because there is no real reason to feel any different
