I don't.......yet

I know that the sentence "I don't know yet", is correct, bu what about sentences like :
"I don't get it yet", "I don't do that yet".

Are they correct? The better alternative might be switching into "I haven't gotten it yet" or something, but I want to know if the two sentences above and similar sentences are grammatically correct?

I would say I still don't get it. Your second example seems possible to me (and I'd probably pause a little before the 'yet'). I think your question has more to do with idiomatic usage than grammatical correctness.

So, is the sentence "I don't do that yet" usable?

It implies that it's not my routine/custom/ habit at present, but it is likely to become my routine/custom/habit at some point in the future.

If that's what you mean, the sentence is OK.
