I don't understand this question

I was given an assignment question and I could not really understand the question:

How far do you think principles of CLT are applicable in secondary schools?

So should I first say how much I agree that the principles are applicable? If I say I agree to a great extent, do I just write about the advantages? If I say i disagree, do I just talk about disadvantages?

Dear Wysteria It's a good question I think you should say whether you agree or disagree and then give your reasons But you should also say why other people might disagree with you (and give their reasons). You may also say that, while you accept their ideas, you think they are wrong because... In this way, you will construct a good argument, with both sides of the argument expressed Regards, Dave
