I don't understand the meaning of the sentences below specially * would* .

1. I prolonged the job longer than what it normnormally would take.

2. You had no advantage then struggled like any other person would.

3.just be prepared to look a little bit cooler than you would if you opted for a field jacket or adenim jacket instead.

4.some women may also enjoy the freedom to do it because it allows them acts that they would not otherwise do.
