I dont understand the idea of this sentence on sciene newspaper
In my translate homework, I must read a newspaper about "Children's attitude to rainforest", there was a sentence I didn't understand clearly:
it seems schools may not be providing an opportunity for children to re-express their ideas and so have them tested and refined by teachers and their peers.
I don't understand the part from "so have them tested..." to the end. Can anyone explain it for me, thanks a lot.
