i don't understand

i am not quite sure if i ask this question in the right forum, but here goes...

"Remember if you marry for beauty, thou bindest thyself all thy life for that which perchance, will neither last nor please the one year; and when thou hast it, it will be to thee of no price at all."
- Virginia Woolf

I don't understand the quote, so is it okay if anyone will explain it to me?

Thanks!

Hi, If you marry because a person is beautiful, that beauty will only make you happy for less than a year. If you have beauty yourself, it will not seem valuable to you. In other words, beauty is not an important thing.
