I don't know any Bob...

Hi,
I heard something like "I don't know any Bob", but I'm not sure if it was "Bob" or "Bobs". It was on the phone, something like this:

- Hello?
- Hi Bob, this is Frank...
- Sorry, I think you've got the wrong number.
- No way, come on Bob! I'm Frank, remember? I'm...
- I'm not Bob. I don't know any Bob(s)!

Bob or Bobs? I think both could be used. Thanks Emotion: smile

BTW: can I say "I'm Frank" on the phone, or do I always have to say "This is Frank"? What about "It's Frank"? Thanks Emotion: smile

Thanks Clive, I see.
Clive If someone calls me and says 'Hi Clive, I'm Frank', I know the person is an ESL learner.
Oh! Boy, you scared me, I'm definitely not going to say that then!
