"I don't have to finish this until next month so why should I..."

I don't have to finish this until next month so why should I being bothering myself with it now.

Does this sound natural?

Thank you

I don't have to finish this until next month , so why should I bother/be bothering myself with it now ? "be bothering" is more immediate/real. I would probably put a comma after "so", but others might not.
