"I don't give a ship"

Hi All,

Can anyone please tell me what the phrase "I don't give a ship" means?

Do you know the equivalent in French?

Thank you.

It sounds like the speaker is being polite. The rude version is 'I don't give a sh*t'. It means 'I don't care at all'.

Je m’en fiche.

(To avoid saying Je m’en fous.)

{To the French: Don't hesitate to correct me if I've got it wrong.}
