I do not know how to use “remind of” or “remind about”
Let me explain as clear as I could.
1.The sky is getting dark.
I and my son are having breakfast.
I remind him of bringing an umbrella before he leaves.
My son is standing at the door now.
I remind him to bring an umbrella.
2.I have an appointment with Peter at 3:00 p.m.
My secretary reminds me of the appointment at 2:00 p.m.
My secretary reminds me about the appointment at 3:05 p.m.
3.Mary has just borrowed a book from the library.
I remind her of returning the book to the library on time in case she gets a fine of $1.
The borrowed book is overdue.
I remind her about returning the book to the library.
