Hi, I am reading this in a forum. I don't know the poster's nationality and he has quitted.
I had recently gotten into a philosophical debate over my deception over a cheap convenience store item. I had a coupon, and feeling that I could get away with using one size to big, and pretending like I was not aware in the case I got caught. The person I was with, called me out, and we soon got into a argument regarding karma and deception. I was told, that because I had committed a bad act, I would be a victim of bad luck.
One size too big = a bigger size than necessary/proper/authorized (by the coupon, in this case). I wear 27-cm shoes, but my mother bought me 28-cm shoes, which are one size too big.

MinnalousheDoes it mean the coupon's value was $20, and he claimed it was $20.2 ?No; the coupon was for the purchase of a 1-liter bottle, but he wanted to try to buy a 2-liter bottle with it. That's how I understand it.
