I can't unsee those images

“I can’t unsee those images,” Sasha said. “I want to share that burden. The people who did that need to see it. I want to sit down with them and show them the photographs. I really just want to know why.” (The Guardian.)

Does "I can't unsee those images" mean "I can see those images" in the above?
