I can't understand "as far as I'm concerned"

Hi, I am in deep trouble. The definition of "as far as I am concerned" is "to the degree that it has an influence on or matters to me". Despite all my efforts I was still beaten that I can not work the definition into its example sentence. The meaning and usage of "to the degree that" is clear to me in other sentences. eg In " the temperature in the subway will ascend to the degree that passengers are not able to tolerant." I know that means: the temperature is hot enough to let the passengers are not able to tolerant.Could any native speaker help to work the definition into its example sentence? Its example sentence is as the following. As far as we’re concerned you can go whenever you want. Thank you for your assistance.
