I can't seem to find word to express

I can't seem to find the word to express this.

backtrack, retrograde, unimprove??
How should I write the paragraph?

Although, even though the new program has some new features, it has backtracked in some aspects. It feels like in some aspects they have unimproved. It feels like I've got the 2005 version in some aspects. The program has moved back instead of advancing in some aspects. In the 2010 you could do things you'd expect to do in the 2012 version, wierdly it has retrograded, you could no longer do those things.Thankyou

Although and even though mean the same thing. Use one or the other. I don't think backtrack and retrograde are good fits here, and unimproved isn't a word.

  • Also, the paragraph seems to express the same idea four consecutive times.
