I can't hear what's said in "Sherlock"

Now I'm watching Sherlock and I can't hear this phrase

"wouldn't let them ~"

I just feel I'm really lost because all I can hear is "leave him

go" not "let them go"

and I don't think I can hear them as "let them" if I keep doing it 100 times

Can anyone give me any advice on this?

The whole 6 seconds are just mumbling to me. Looking at 3 frozen penguins does not help at all.
