I Came To You...

I came to you o God
To beg a lot from you
I stand before your door
To have a glimpse of You.
Angels are demurring
My entrée to your abode
All my love for You
Is plundered by them
I am bankrupt again.

How do angels plunder your love? They radiate the love of *** with complete transparency. Love the opening lines. Intrigued by what the last few lines mean.

It means that the angels' love for *** is so much that my love is hidden.....

This is an intriguing line and thought:

'My entrée to your abode'

'Abode' is quite a traditional word to find, in religious poetry (often rhymed with '***'); but 'entrée' makes it new again.
